I’m putting together a new web application and have settled on a React front-end paired with a Django back-end. I already have the high-level feature set mapped out; now I need someone who can turn those ideas into a clean, production-ready product.
Here’s the flow I have in mind:
• React will drive a fast, responsive single-page interface. I’d like reusable components, intuitive state management, and solid test coverage.
• Django will power a RESTful API layer, handle authentication, and manage a PostgreSQL database. Code quality, clear separation of concerns, and well-documented endpoints are essential.
• Smooth communication between the two layers is key, with JSON responses structured for easy consumption on the client side.
• Once core features are in place, I’ll need a basic CI/CD pipeline and deployment to a Linux server (Docker is fine if that’s your preference).
Deliverables I’m expecting:
1. A Git repo containing the React front-end and Django back-end, both fully runnable with a simple setup script.
2. API documentation (Swagger or similar) and concise run/deploy instructions.
3. A short hand-off call or screen-share to walk me through the architecture and next steps.
If you’re comfortable owning both stacks and can demonstrate previous React + Django work, I’m ready to get started right away.
